Business Energy Brokering

Take control of what your business pays for gas and electricity

We compare the market on your behalf, negotiate directly with a wide panel of UK suppliers, and — for larger users — give you access to wholesale energy buying that was previously only available to major corporates. No jargon, no hidden fees, no obligation.

Two ways to buy energy

Fixed certainty or wholesale flexibility — and honest advice on which fits

A fixed contract locks in a single unit rate for gas and/or electricity for a set term, typically 1 to 3 years. Whatever happens in the wholesale market during that time, your rate doesn't move.

Best for: smaller and mid-sized businesses, anyone who values budget certainty, and businesses that want a simple contract with minimal admin.

All you need to get started is a recent bill and a signed Letter of Authority — which lets us obtain quotes for you and does not commit you to switching.

How we help

  • We approach a wide panel of approved UK suppliers on your behalf and present a clear, like-for-like comparison
  • We track wholesale markets daily and advise on the right moment to lock in — not just whenever your anniversary date happens to fall
  • We handle the entire switch end to end, including all supplier paperwork
  • Full fee transparency on every quote
Flexible procurement

Wholesale buying power for larger users

Fixing everything at a single moment means betting your entire energy budget on one day's market price. Flexible procurement buys your energy in stages across the life of the contract, capturing prices at multiple points instead of one. Through our buying group, mid-sized businesses pool their volume so a dedicated trading desk can purchase on the wholesale market — the same approach large corporations use.

How it works, in plain terms

  1. 1

    Your consumption is pooled

Your usage joins other member businesses in a single purchasing volume — the scale that unlocks wholesale market access.

  2. 2

The trading desk buys in stages

Portions of the group's future energy needs are locked in when market conditions are favourable, layering purchases over months or years rather than at one moment.

  3. 3

You pay a transparent monthly price

Based on the average wholesale price actually achieved, plus network and policy costs passed through at actual cost.

  4. 4

    You see everything

Regular position reports show exactly what has been bought, at what price, and how it compares to the current market.

What makes the structure different

Fees agreed upfront and fixed at signing

Both the supplier's charge and our management fee are declared in the contract and cannot change during the term.

Non-commodity costs at actual cost

Network charges, levies, and policy costs are passed through at the real rate in the month of delivery — no supplier estimates baked into your unit rate, no hidden risk margin. When those charges fall, you pay less.

Transparent imbalance handling

If you use more or less than forecast, the difference is settled at the day-ahead market price and passed through at cost — no supplier premium added.

Flexible start dates

Join now with a supply start date aligned to when your existing contract ends — even if that's two or three years away. A long lead time gives the trading desk more time to build cover at attractive prices.

Fast onboarding when you need it

If you're out of contract, supply can typically go live within a few working days once the framework is agreed — far quicker than a standard fixed-contract switch.

Is flexible procurement right for you?

We'll always tell you honestly

As a rule of thumb, the flexible framework works best for businesses above the thresholds shown here. Below these levels, the management fee structure means a well-shopped fixed contract usually delivers similar value with less complexity — and that's exactly what we'll recommend instead. We will never sell you a structure that doesn't suit your usage.

UtilityApproximate threshold
Electricity175,000+ kWh per year (around £40,000+ annual spend)
Gas300,000+ kWh per year (around £20,000+ annual spend)
